Cam Scholey, MBA, CMA, Ph.D. has been a speaker, author and consultant for the past decade, focusing on the strategic concepts of balanced scorecard and strategy mapping. Specific areas of interest are communication, risk management and board governance.

Cam has also been a faculty member at The University of Waterloo. He was heavily involved in designing and teaching in the new Master of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology (MBET) program, now in its fourth year at The University of Waterloo. He continues to work at the university on a part-time basis.

A facilitator of the new CMA Strategic Leadership Program, Cam is also an experienced writer and is the author of the book entitled A Practical Guide to the Balanced Scorecard (CCH Canadian). He is also the author of several articles, including "Strategy maps: a step-by-step guide to measuring, managing and communicating the plan" (Journal of Business Strategy, May/June 2005). He is co-authoring a management accounting publication on strategy mapping called Using Strategy Maps to Drive Performance (due out November 2006).
